ATLANTA -- Janice Moore, second from left, manager of the Georgia Department of Labor's Clayton County office accepts the Best Placement of a Veteran in the Scientific or Technical Category. The award is given annually to the labor department office making the best placement from among the state's 53 offices of a veteran in a scientific or technical job. The award was presented by Johnny Blackmon, second from right, and May Belle Blackmon, left, of AmVets at the 55th annual educational conference of the Georgia Chapter of the International Association of Personnel in Employment Security (IAPES), held recently at Jekyll Island.
