BEST PLACEMENT OF DISABLED VETERAN AWARD 
 
ATLANTA -- Ed Gold, left, a veterans representative at the Georgia Department of Labor's Albany office, accepts the Best Placement of a Disabled Veteran Award. The award is given annually to the labor department office making the best placement from among the state's 53 offices of a disabled veteran whose disability is service connected. The award was presented by James Gilmer, center, of the Clarke County Veterans Council, and Ward Gibbons, right, chairman of Veterans Activities for the Georgia Chapter of the International Association of Personnel in Employment Security (IAPES) at the organization's 55th annual educational conference was held recently at Jekyll Island.
