Source SHINES Outcome XIV Stability Performance Coefficient (Number of Moves/Number of Days in Custody * 1000) A calculated value based upon the ACF CFSR Round 3 which is part of Program Improvement. It is calculated from a rolling 12 month population of the entry cohort where the child remained in custody for over 8 days and was not 18 on the date of removal. The federal standard is 4.12. Outcome I Child Protective Services Cases (State Fiscal Year 2017 to Date) The total Child Protective Cases cases during the month of December 2016 decreased by 4% due to the 7% decrease in Family Support Cases. Family Support cases have increased by 95% since the beginning of the fiscal year. Overall the average number of cases to date is 16.7% lower than SFY 2016. During December 2015 Georgia was above the national standard of 5.4%. The following slides reveal that there were 716 entries and 507 exits. On the last day of January 2017 there were 12 497 children in custody from this population. There was a decrease in the number of entries during November causing the re-entry rate to rise suddenly. Because the number of entries increased in January the rate remained below the national standard. The reentry rate for December was lower than it has been in 12 months. This is an increase of 3.5% since January 2016.
