These programs and initiatives are examples of how the literacy community has stepped up to increase our state's literacy skills. At the beginning of COVID, the Georgia Literacy Coordinating Council, a partnership between the Governor's Office of Student Achievement (GOSA) and Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE), created a document with literacy resources found at gachildrenscabinet.org. Parents, educators, and caregivers may find these resources helpful to augment learning during these unusual and ever-changing times. On behalf of GOSA staff, we appreciate your partnerships and affiliations as we all strive for student success.
