BY THE GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF GEORGIA 
 
A PROCLAMATION 
 
CERTIFIED REGISTERED NURSE ANESTHETISTS WEEK 
 
WHEREAS: 
 
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists are highly valued in today's healthcare environment because they deliver safe, high-quality anesthesia care at a low cost; and 
 
WHEREAS: 
 
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists deliver vital healthcare in thousands of communities and are able to prevent gaps in access to anesthesia services , especially in medically underserved areas of the state; and 
 
WHEREAS: 
 
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists consistently accomplish their mission to provide a safe anesthesia experience and quality outcomes for each patient; and 
 
WHEREAS: 
 
Patients and patient care teams depend on Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists to fulfill many roles and responsibilities that contribute to excellent patient care; and 
 
WHEREAS: 
 
Nurse Anesthetists have been committed to providing quality anesthesia service to Georgians throughout the last 150 years; now 
 
THEREFORE: 
 
I, NATHAN DEAL, Governor of the State of Georgia, do hereby proclaim january 23-27, 2017, as CERTIFIED REGISTERED NURSE ANESTHETISTS WEEK in Georgia.
