A PROCLAMATION 
 
GEORG IA WEEK FOR THE ANIMALS 
 
WHEREAS: 
 
The 5th Annual Georgia Week for the Animals raises awareness for animal protection and condition improvement; and 
 
WHEREAS: 
 
Animal World USA advocates assistance to animals though uniting communities on the importance of adopting pets from shelters, as well as spaying and neutering pets; and 
 
WHEREAS: 
 
Georgia Week for the Animals will bring together animal shelters, rescue groups, educational institutions, and humane organizations from around the state to host events working to save animal lives and promote the importance of their proper health care; and 
 
WHEREAS: 
 
This week celebrates the joy, service, and love that animals bring to our lives; now 
 
THEREFORE: 
 
I, NATHAN DEAL, Governor of the State of Georgia, do hereby proclaim November 28-December 6, 201 5, as GEORGIA WEEK FOR THE ANIMALS in Georgia. 
 
In witness thereof, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the Seal of the Executive Department to be affixed this 18th day of November in the year of our Lord two thousand fifteen.
