THE STATE OF GEORGIA EXECUTIVE ORDER BY THE GOVERNOR: Whereas: The State of Georgia holds title to approximately 2.144 acres of improved real property (the "Property''), located at 4741 Atlanta Highway in Flowery Branch, Georgia by virtue of a General Warranty Deed dated August 30, 2018, from LLI Management Company, LLC; and Whereas: Said Property is in the custody of the Department of Community Affairs and the Georgia Environmental Finance Authority (GEFA) as the sole and exclusive agent pursuant to an Intergovernmental Agreement dated August 29, 2012; and Whereas: The Property is improved with a restaurant, which is approximately 2,500 square feet (the "Structure"), as shown in plat attached hereto as Exhibit "A", and incorporated herein by reference; and Whereas: Said Structure is identified by GEFA to be in disrepair and a safety hazard, rendering it surplus to GEFA's needs; and Whereas: By official action dated September 7, 2018, GEFA recommended the demolition of the Structure and requested that the State Properties Commission seek an Executive Order from the Governor to allow for the razing, demolition, and disposal of the Structure as in the best interest of the State of Georgia. NOW, THEREFORE, PURSUANT TO THE AUTHORITY VESTED IN ME AS Governor of the state of Georgia, it is hereby Ordered: GEFA is hereby authorized and directed to provide for the razing, demolition and disposal of said Structure under the terms and conditions which are deemed to be in the best interests of the State of Georgia.
