EXECUTIVE ORDER
BY THE GOVERNOR:

FLAGS ON ALL STATE BUILDINGS AND GROUNDS ORDERED LOWERED TO HALF STAFF
On Sunday, October 1, 2017, a lone gunman opened fire on a large group of concert attendees in Las Vegas, Nevada; and
The people of Georgia share the grief of the families and friends of those who were injured or killed, and we pray for their comfort and healing in the days to come; and
The President of the United States has ordered the flag of the United States be flown at half-staff on all government buildings and grounds.
NOW, THEREFORE, IN HONOR AND AS A MARK OF RESPECT FOR THOSE AFFECTED BYTHIS TRAGEDY, PURSUANT TO THE AUTHORITY VESTED IN ME AS GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF GEORGIA, IT IS HEREBY
That the flag of the United States and flag of the Great State of Georgia be flown at half-staff on all state buildings and grounds from this date until sunset, Friday, October 6, 2017.
