The Mayor of the City of Mount Vernon, Mr. Joey Fountain, was indicted on February 1, 2016, on one count of Burglary in the Second Degree; and 
The indictment was transmitted to the Governor pursuant to 0.C. G.A.  45s-6(b), and the certified copy was received on February 9, 2016; and 
The 14-day period following the receipt of the indictment as prescribed by O.C.G.A.  45-5-6(e) has passed. 
Now, THEREFORE, BY VIRTUE OF THE AUTHORITY VESTED IN ME As 
GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF GEORGIA, IT IS HEREBY 
That Attorney General Sam Olens, Mayor Hugh "Bubba" Hodge of the City of Darien, and Mayor Peggy Murphy of the City of Alma are hereby appointed as the review commission to determine whether the indictment relates to and adversely affects the administration of the office of Mayor by Mr. Fountain such that the rights and interests of the public are adversely affected thereby and to make a written report to me within 14 days with a recommendation as to whether said mayor should be suspended from office as required by O.C.G.A. 45-5-6(e).
