WHEREAS: WHEREAS: ORDERED: 
 
By Executive Order dated October 1, 2015, a review commission was appointed to determine whether the indictment of Lumpkin County Coroner, Mr. Ronald Fortner, related to and adversely impacted the administration ofthe office of county coroner pursuant to O.C.G.A.  45-5-6; and 
 
By the report dated October 30, 2015, the commission unanimously recommended that Lumpkin County Coroner, Mr. Ronald Fortner, be suspended from office under the provisions of O.C.G.A.  45-5-6. 
 
NOW, THEREFORE, PURSUANT TO THE AUTHORITY VESTED IN ME AS GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF GEORGIA, IT IS HEREBY 
 
That Mr. Ronald Fortner is hereby suspended from office 
 
immediately and without further action pending the final disposition 
 
of the case or until the expiration of his term of office, whichever 
 
occurs first, as provided in O.C.G.A.  45-5-6(c).
