EXECUTIVE ORDER

The State of Georgia holds title to certain real property by virtue of a June 2, 2015 general warranty deed from Richard A. and Tanya C. Taylor for approximately o.8o of an acre recorded in Houston County Clerk of Superior Court in Deed Book 6868, Pages 15-17 (the "Property"); and 
Said Property is in the custody of the Department of Natural Resources (the "Department") and was acquired as part of the Robins Air Force Base Buffer Project; and 
The Property is located at 105 Travis Street in Warner Robins and is improved with an approximate 2,795 square foot single-family residence, as shown in that aerial photograph attached hereto as Exhibit A, and incorporated herein by reference (the "Structure"); and 
Said Structure is identified by the Department to be in conflict with the benefits of creating a buffer of open space to help preserve the mission and conservation values of Robins Air Force Base, is declared to have no value, and staff of the Department recommended the removal ofthe Structure; and 
The Board of Natural Resources on August 26, 2015, resolved to recommend the removal of the Structure and requested that the State Properties Commission seek an Executive Order from the Governor to allow for the razing, demolition, and disposal of the Structure as in the best interest of the State of Georgia; and 
The Department of Natural Resources has funding available to raze, demolish, and dispose of said Structure. 
 
 ORDERED: 
 
NOW, THEREFORE, PURSUANT TO THE AUTHORITY VESTED IN ME AS GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF GEORGIA, IT IS HEREBY 
The Department of Natural Resources is hereby authorized and directed to provide for the razing, demolition and disposal of said Structure under the terms and conditions which are deemed to be in the best interests of the State of Georgia.
