ORDERED: 
 
The Attorney General decided to recuse his office from the investigation and prosecution of the matters listed below; and 
Peter J. Skandalakis, previously appointed as Special Attorney General by former Governor Roy E. Barnes had indicated that it was impractical to assume and perform the investigation and prosecution of the matters listed below; and 
I appointed J. Tom Morgan as Special Attorney General to assume control and responsibility for the investigation of alleged improprieties by officers or employees of the State Board of Pardons and Paroles; and 
Jeffrey Brickman has succeeded J. Tom Morgan as the District Attorney for the Stone Mountain Judicial Circuit; 
NOW, THEREFORE, PURSUANT TO THE AUTHORITY VESTED IN ME AS GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF GEORGIA, IT IS HEREBY 
That Jeffrey Brickman and his successor in office, Gwendolyn Keyes, are hereby appointed as Special Attorney General to assume control and responsibility for the investigation of alleged improprieties by officers or employees of the State Board of Pardons and Paroles.
