Mr. Joel E. Harrell, III, Resident Vice President of Norfolk Southern Corporation, has made application for the appointment of Andrea D. Pauley as Special Officer of the State of Georgia; and 
Said application appears to be in due form and in compliance with O.C.G.A.  46-8-230 through 232. 
NOW THEREFORE, PURSUANT TO THE AUTHORITY VESTED IN ME AS GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OFGEORGIA, IT IS HEREBY 
That Andrea D. Pauley be and is hereby appointed as a Special Officer, Norfolk Southern Railway Company, Inc., with duties and powers as provided by the terms of the Act cited above, as long as she is in the employ of said company and as provided by law. As such, she shall receive no compensation from the State of Georgia or any county thereof. 
ITISFUTHER 
That the Secretary of State is hereby authorized and directed 
try to issue a commission as Special Officer to Andrea D. Pauley.
