THE STATE OF GEORGIA EXECUTIVE ORDER BY THE GOVERNOR: WHEREAS: WHEREAS: WHEREAS: WHEREAS: ORDERED: On April 6, 1999, the Governor signed Senate Bill 57, creating the Georgia Regional Transportation Authority; and The Georgia Regional Transportation Authority has the authority to approve all transportation project within areas under non-attainment as prescribed by EPA regulation; and Pursuant to O.C.G.A. Section 50-32-13, the Governor may delegate to the Georgia Regional Transportation Authority, by executive order, his power under applicable federal transportation planning and air quality laws and regulation; and Pursuant to O.C.G.A. Section 50-32-13, the Governor may delegate all powers vested in his office for approval, review and modification of state-wide transportation improvement programs under federal law and regulation. NOW, THEREFORE, PURSUANT TO THE AUTHORITY VESTED IN ME AS GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF GEORGIA, IT IS HEREBY That all powers vested in the Office of the Governor of the State of Georgia for approval, review and modification of the Interim Atlanta Regional Transportation Improvement Program, FY 2000-FY 2002, are hereby delegated to the EXECUTIVE SECRETARY GOVERNOR
