THE STATE OF GEORGIA 
EXECUTIVE ORDER 
BY THE GOVERNOR: 
WHEREAS: The Education of the Handicapped Act Amendments of 1986 (Public Law 99-457) provides for financial assistance to states in developing a statewide, comprehensive, coordinated, multidisciplinary, interagency system to provide early intervention services for infants and toddlers with special needs and their families; and 
WHEREAS: Said law provides that any state desiring to take advantage of such federal assistance shall provide for the establishment of a state interagency coordinating council; and 
WHEREAS: The Interagency Coordinating Council for Early Intervention Programs was created by Executive Order dated February 26, 1988. 
NOW, THEREFORE, PURSUANT TO THE AUTHORITY VESTED IN ME AS GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF GEORGIA, IT IS HEREBY 
ORDERED: That the following persons be and they are hereby appointed to serve at the pleasure of the Governor as members of the Interagency Coordinating Council for Early Intervention Programs.
