Governor Perdue Makes Recommendation To Discontinue CCOP Bid 
 
Atlanta - Today Governor Sonny Perdue recommended to the Georgia Technology Authority (GTA) that they not move forward with the CCOP bid at this time. The Governor's CCOP Task Force should not have its hands tied while reviewing Georgia's telecommunications needs. The Task Force will review all components of this project and they would not be able to do so if the bid were to continue as planned.
