Mystery Train! The 6th Annual Great Train Event 
Blue Ridge, GA Friday, September 23rd Get your caboose on the train! Appetizers, beer, wine and other drinks will be provided followed by a down home-style dinner at the Whistlestop. There will be a prize for best costume, so come as your favorite western character!

Butterfly Safari at Sweetwater 
Lithia Springs, GA Saturday, September 24th Explore an open grassland in search of butterflies like the Tiger Swallowtail, Common Buckeye and Fiery Skipper. Participants will meet at the interpretive center and caravan to the Riverside Parkway Property, an 80-acre mosaic of grassland. 
 
Harvest Time at the Homestead at Red Top 
Cartersville, GA Saturday, September 24th - Sunday, September 25th Step back in time to the 1800s and experience the lives of citizens and soldiers as demonstrators bring the historic log cabin to life by performing crafts and activities. Try your hand at woodworking, laundry and soapmaking, and stop by the Civil War camp to speak with soldiers.
