Royal Alpaca Challenge Conyers, GA Saturday, November 5th Sunday, November 6th Come meet the fuzzy, silky, gentle alpaca up-close and personal! This event will feature breeders from all over the country who will compete, demonstrate the fiber arts and sell alpaca products, including yarns, roving, sweaters, socks and much more. Belle Meade Hunt Opening Meet Thomson, GA Saturday, November 5th Ride along on a Tally-ho wagon through the historic sites and beautiful rolling countryside of McDuffie County as you follow scarlet-coated hunters and welltrained hounds on a simulated fox hunt. An unforgettable McDuffie County tradition! Fala Days Warm Springs, GA Saturday, November 5th This celebration of FDR's "best friend" has evolved into an annual gathering in downtown Warm Springs. This year, the event kicks off with a "Scottie Scavenger Hunt" among the downtown shops, followed by a pajama and pizza party at the Meriwether Country Inn. Wounded Warriors Day St. Marys, GA Saturday, November 5th The City of St. Marys in collaboration with Citizens for a National Wounded Warriors Day will honor wounded veterans. The solemn ceremonial walk begins at 9:45 a.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery, ends at the Howard Gilman Waterfront Park and is followed by a patriotic program.
