You're invited to 2015 Tourism, Hospitality and Arts Day at the Capitol Mark your calendars for Monday, Jan. 26 and Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2015, to join us as we celebrate the 2015 Tourism, Hospitality and Arts Day at the Capitol. It is more important than ever that we build strong advocacy programs to showcase the important role of travel and tourism in our statewide economy. We are asking everyone in the travel and tourism industry, including frontline employees, sales teams and CEOs from all over the state to support and participate in this important event. RSVP today! 2. Register for the 2015 Winter Chautauqua Tourism Conference Online registration is now available for the 2015 Winter Chautauqua tourism conference, which will be held in Dalton March 1-2, 2015, at the Dalton Convention Center. The conference will include special sessions created in partnership with the Innkeepers Association of Georgia, as well as sessions on branding, emerging technology, capturing and using economic growth data, and food tours. Register today! 3. Reminder: 2015 Travel Media Marketplace Bid Forms are due Dec. 19 Travel Media Marketplace is an annual event hosted by Georgia Tourism to showcase Georgia to travel writers. The event begins in the host city, where journalists visit its tourism assets and taste local cuisine. After the marketplace event, attendees participate on FAM tours around the state. If your community or regional partnership is interested in being considered as the host destination, download the form and submit your bid to Emily Murray at emurray@georgia.org by Friday, Dec. 19, 2014. 4. Post your 2015 events and deals on ExploreGeorgia.org Do you already have the dates set for your annual festival? Are you offering special promotions in 2015 to attract more visitors? Don't miss out on the FREE opportunity to promote your 2015 events and deals to millions of travelers on ExploreGeorgia.org. Login to Partner Admin (http://partner.exploregeorgia.org) to review your current listings, checking for accuracy and updating things like photos and social media links.
