Chapter 50-13 and by authority of O.C.G.A. 71-61, O.C.G.A. 7-1-663; O.C.G.A. 7-1-1012, and other cited statutes, the Georgia Department of Banking and Finance (Department) gave notice of its intent to adopt new and amended rules. The proposed changes are in part responsive to law changes during the 2012 legislative session. Comments to the Department must be received by the close of business Monday, September 17, 2012. Along those lines, we would like to recognize the following individuals and teams for going above and beyond in serving our customers: Financial Examiner Ryan Baker (District 1) and his examination team The Department received comments from a customer stating: "Ryan Baker did an outstanding job of communicating with management and leading his exam team. They were professional and most importantly, we felt they really listened to us. They asked great questions about our bank and seemed to be genuinely interested in our bank which was a refreshing experience."
