The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.1275 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. 100% (representing 1,014 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of $1.04 to $1.19 with a final weighted average of $1.1206 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is steady to firm and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable. Estimated slaughter for today is 4,717,300 head. This compares with 4,727,400 head last Monday. 
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $2.41 (based on 2,022,000 lbs.); skinless boneless breasts $2.20 (based on 8,348,000 lbs.); whole breasts $1.3050 (based on 1,754,000 lbs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.44 (based on 1,536,000 lbs.); thighs 78.00 (based on 1,327,000 lbs.); drumsticks 69.50 (based on 2,105,000 lbs.); leg quarters 55.50 (based on 9,149,000 lbs.); and wings $1.3950 (based on 3,723,000 lbs.). Demand on most parts is good to normal, mostly good; with the exception of boneless skinless thigh meat which is good.

The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.1275. The final weighted average was $1.1206 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market tone for next week's trading is firm to steady and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable to a little light with a mostly steady to firm to occasionally lower and weak price trend. Estimated slaughter today is 4,751,000 head. This compares with 4,755,800 head last Tuesday. 
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on parts were: line run tenders $2.41; skinless boneless breasts $2.20 whole breasts $1.3050; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.44; thighs 78.00; drumsticks 69.50; leg quarters 55.50; and wings $1.3950. Cooler inventories and supplies on all parts are balanced to occasionally light and heavy with a mostly good to balanced to very good demand. Price trend on all parts is mostly lower to higher, occasionally firm, steady and weak. 
 
 23 JULY 2014 WEDNESDAY The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for next week's trading remains unchanged at $1.1275 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. The market is steady to firm, and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable. Estimated slaughter today is 4,676,200 head. This compares with 4,699,300 head last Wednesday. 
The f.o.b. dock quoted prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for next week's trading are: line run tenders $2.4550; skinless boneless breasts $2.2350; whole breasts $1.2950; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.54; thighs 76.50; drumsticks 66.00; leg quarters 55.50 and wings $1.4150. Demand on all parts is good to normal, mostly good.

24 JULY 2014 THURSDAY The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.1275 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. 43% (representing 436 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a price range of $1.08 to $1.19 with a preliminary weighted average of $1.1268 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is steady to firm, and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable to a little light. Estimated slaughter today is 4,735,300 head. This compares with 4,783,000 head last Thursday.

The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.1275 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. 83% (representing 843 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of $1.04 to $1.19 with a preliminary weighted average of $1.1201 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is steady to firm, and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable to a little light. Estimated slaughter today and Saturday is 5,020,500 head. This compares with 4,677,500 head last Friday. 
The f.o.b. dock confirmed preliminary weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $2.4150 (based on 1,692,000 lbs.); skinless boneless breasts $2.22 (based on 6,796,000 lbs.); whole breasts $1.30 (based on 1,174,000 lbs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.4650 (based on 1,392,000 lbs.); thighs 78.00 (based on 1,218,000 lbs.); drumsticks 72.00 (based on 1,462,000 lbs.); leg quarters 55.50 (based on 7,909,000 lbs.); and wings $1.39 (based on 3,446,000 lbs.). Demand on most parts is good to normal, mostly good; with the exceptions of whole breasts which is normal to good; and boneless skinless thigh meat which is good. 
Estimated hen slaughter for the week ending today is 162,450 head. Estimated hen slaughter for the corresponding week a year ago was 278,071 head. 
Estimated total slaughter for the week ending today for broilers and fryers is 23,900,300 head. This compares with 23,718,300 head of broilers and fryers for the corresponding week a year ago.
