The market is firm to steady and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable to a little light. Estimated slaughter for today is 4,759,300 head. This compares with 4,729,100 head last Monday. The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $2.3250 (based on 1,900,000 lbs.); skinless boneless breasts $2.1050 (based on 7,762,000 lbs.); whole breasts $1.2150 (based on 1,857,000 lbs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.4250 (based on 1,576,000 lbs.); thighs 76.00 (based on 1,327,000 lbs.); drumsticks 70.00 (based on 1,742,000 lbs.); leg quarters 55.00 (based on 9,299,000 lbs.); and wings $1.33 (based on 3,768,000 lbs.).
