5 MAY 2014 MONDAY The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.0825 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. 100% (representing 1,003 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of 91.65 to $1.1558 with a final weighted average of $1.0869 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is firm to steady and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable to a little light. Estimated slaughter for today is 4,729,100 head. This compares with 4,703,100 head last Monday. 
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $2.31 (based on 1,898,000 lbs.); skinless boneless breasts $2.08 (based on 8,032,000 lbs.); whole breasts $1.19 (based on 1,657,000 lbs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.45 (based on 1,596,000 lbs.); thighs 75.50 (based on 1,327,000 lbs.); drumsticks 70.00 (based on 1,712,000 lbs.); leg quarters 55.00 (based on 9,349,000 lbs.); and wings $1.34 (based on 3,768,000 lbs.). Demand on line run tenders, skinless boneless breasts and boneless skinless thigh meat is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally very good; demand on whole breasts, thighs, drumsticks and leg quarters is good to normal, mostly good; and demand wings is normal to good, mostly normal, occasionally light. 
6 MAY 2014 TUESDAY The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.0825. The final weighted average was $1.0869 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market tone for next week's trading is firm to steady and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable to a little light with a mostly steady price trend. Estimated slaughter today is 4,733,100 head. This compares with 4,645,700 head last Tuesday. 
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on parts were: line run tenders $2.31; skinless boneless breasts $2.08 whole breasts $1.19; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.45; thighs 75.50; drumsticks 70.00; leg quarters 55.00; and wings $1.34. Cooler inventories and supplies on all parts are balanced to occasionally light and heavy with a mostly good to balanced, occasionally very good to light demand. Price trend on all parts is mostly lower to higher, occasionally weak, steady and firm. 
 
 7 MAY 2014 WEDNESDAY The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for next week's trading advanced .25 to $1.0850 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. The market is firm to steady, and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable to light. Estimated slaughter today is 4,700,200 head. This compares with 4,686,100 head last Wednesday. 
The f.o.b. dock quoted prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for next week's trading are: line run tenders $2.36; skinless boneless breasts $2.0650; whole breasts $1.17; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.4550; thighs 71.00; drumsticks 63.00; leg quarters 54.50 and wings $1.33 Demand on line run tenders, boneless skinless thigh meat and drumsticks is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally very good; demand on skinless boneless breasts, whole breasts, thighs and leg quarters is good to normal, mostly good; and demand on wings is good to normal, occasionally light.

8 MAY 2014 THURSDAY The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.0850 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. 75% (representing 758 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a price range of $1.0185 to $1.1270 with a preliminary weighted average of $1.0868 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is firm to steady, and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable to light. Estimated slaughter today is 4,732,600 head. This compares with 4,742,600 head last Thursday.

The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.0850 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. 87% (representing 874 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of $1.0185 to $1.1270 with a preliminary weighted average of $1.0867 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is firm to steady, and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable to light. Estimated slaughter today is 4,257,700 head. This compares with 4,628,900 head last Friday. 
The f.o.b. dock confirmed preliminary weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $2.3250 (based on 1,656,000 lbs.); skinless boneless breasts $2.11 (based on 6,825,000 lbs.); whole breasts $1.21 (based on 1,138,000 lbs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.43 (based on 1,470,000 lbs.); thighs 76.00 (based on 1,218,000 lbs.); drumsticks 67.50 (based on 1,524,000 lbs.); leg quarters 55.00 (based on 7,909,000 lbs.); and wings $1.32 (based on 3,573,000 lbs.). Demand on most parts is good to normal, mostly good; with the exceptions of line run tenders which is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally very good; and wings which is normal to good, occasionally light. 
Estimated hen slaughter for the week ending today is 226,869 head. Estimated hen slaughter for the corresponding week a year ago was 209,583 head. 
Estimated total slaughter for the week ending today for broilers and fryers is 23,152,700 head. This compares with 23,223,300 head of broilers and fryers for the corresponding week a year ago.
