The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.07 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. 100% (representing 1,000 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of 91.65 to $1.1400 with a final weighted average of $1.0709 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is steady to firm and the live supply is adequate to short for good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable to a little light. Estimated slaughter today is 4,708,400 head. This compares with 4,735,500 head last Monday. 
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $2.20 (based on 1,768,000 lbs.); skinless boneless breasts $2.08 (based on 7,633,000 lbs.); whole breasts $1.16 (based on 1,843,000 lbs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.4550 (based on 1,236,000 lbs.); thighs 75.00 (based on 1,327,000 lbs.); drumsticks 76.00 (based on 1,349,000 lbs.); leg quarters 54.50 (based on 9,379,000 lbs.); and wings $1.38 (based on 3,483,000 lbs.). Demand on line run tenders and whole breasts is good to very good, occasionally normal; demand on skinless boneless breasts is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally very good; demand on boneless skinless thigh meat is good to very good, mostly good; and demand on thighs, drumsticks, leg quarters, and wings is good to normal, mostly good. 
15 APRIL 2014 TUESDAY 
The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.07. The final weighted average was $1.0709 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market tone for next week's trading is firm to steady and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable to a little light with a mostly firm to steady and higher price trend. Estimated slaughter today is 4,469,400 head. This compares with 4,713,100 head last Tuesday. 
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on parts were: line run tenders $2.20; skinless boneless breasts $2.08 whole breasts $1.16; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.4550; thighs 75.00; drumsticks 76.00; leg quarters 54.50; and wings $1.38. Cooler inventories and supplies on all parts are balanced to occasionally light with a mostly good to balanced, occasionally very good to light, demand. Price trend on all parts is mostly lower to higher, occasionally weak, steady and firm. 
 
 16 APRIL 2014 WEDNESDAY The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for next week's trading advanced .50 to $1.0750 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. The market is firm to steady, and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable to a little light. Estimated slaughter today is 4,765,800 head. This compares with 4,731,300 head last Wednesday. 
The f.o.b. dock quoted prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for next week's trading are: line run tenders $2.2350; skinless boneless breasts $2.0350; whole breasts $1.14; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.4750; thighs 70.50; drumsticks 65.00; leg quarters 54.00 and wings $1.36. Demand on line run tenders is good to very good, occasionally normal; demand on skinless boneless breasts and whole breasts is good to very good, mostly good, occasionally normal; demand on boneless skinless thigh meat is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally very good; demand on thighs, drumsticks and leg quarters is good to normal, mostly good; and demand on wings is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally light.

17 APRIL 2014 THURSDAY The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.0750 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. 75% (representing 755 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a price range of $1.0185 to $1.1261 with a preliminary weighted average of $1.0745 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is firm to steady, and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable to a little light. Estimated slaughter today is 4,784,300 head. This compares with 4,738,100 head last Thursday.

The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.0750 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. 83% (representing 831 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of $1.0185 to $1.1261 with a preliminary weighted average of $1.0761 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is firm to steady and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable to a little light. Estimated slaughter today is 4,489,300 head. This compares with 4,492,700 head last Friday. 
The f.o.b. dock confirmed preliminary weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $2.26 (based on 1,510,000 lbs.); skinless boneless breasts $2.1350 (based on 6,222,000 lbs.); whole breasts $1.1850 (based on 1,210,000 lbs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.4150 (based on 1,045,000 lbs.); thighs 75.50 (based on 1,218,000 lbs.); drumsticks 70.00 (based on 1,079,000 lbs.); leg quarters 54.50 (based on 7,909,000 lbs.); and wings $1.3650 (based on 3,211,000 lbs.). Demand on most parts is good to normal, mostly good; which the exceptions of line run tenders which is good to very good to normal; boneless skinless thigh meat which is good; and wings which is normal to good, occasionally light. 
Estimated hen slaughter for the week ending today is 194,740 head. Estimated hen slaughter for the corresponding week a year ago was 181,815 head. 
Estimated total slaughter for the week ending today for broilers and fryers is 23,217,200 head. This compares with 23,022,900 head of broilers and fryers for the corresponding week a year ago.
