The market is firm to steady and the live supply is adequate for a good to normal demand. Average weights are mostly desirable. Estimated slaughter today is 4,506,700 head. There was no report last Monday due to the MLK holiday. The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $1.90 (based on 1,669,000 lbs.); skinless boneless breasts $1.6350 (based on 7,222,000 lbs.); whole breasts $1.0550 (based on 1,382,000 lbs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.36 (based on 1,159,000 lbs.); thighs 73.50 (based on 1,327,000 lbs.); drumsticks 72.00 (based on 1,357,000 lbs.); leg quarters 54.00 (based on 9,302,000 lbs.); and wings $2.01 (based on 3,711,000 lbs.).
