Kleweno nass-ga@nass.usda.gov BROILERS PLACED IN GEORGIA UP 2 PERCENT BROILER EGGS SET UP 1 PERCENT Placement of broiler chicks in Georgia during the week ending November 17, 2012 was 25.0 million, down slightly from the previous week, but up 2 percent from the comparable week last year, according to the USDA, NASS Georgia Field Office. An estimated 32.1 million broiler type eggs were set by Georgia hatcheries, up 2 percent from the previous week, and up 1 percent from the comparable week a year earlier.
