Kleweno nass-ga@nass.usda.gov 2010 VEGETABLES IN GEORGIA Cabbage Acres for harvest are expected to total 2,400 acres in 2010; up 4 percent from 2009. Cantaloup Growers intend to harvest 3,300 acres in 2010; down 100 acres from 2009. Snap Beans Growers expect to harvest 5,000 acres in 2010 down 1,900 acres from 2009. Spring Onions Growers planted 11,800 acres and intend to harvest 11,100 acres in 2010; Yield per acres is expected to be 225 and total production is estimated at 2.50 million cwt.
