Due to the highly contagious nature of this costly tobacco disease all farms on which infestation has been reported have been placed under State Department of Ag- riculture quarantine. In two counties, Decatur and Grady, the infestation has generally spread throughout the entire county making it necessary to place both of these counties under total quarantine.
