Twenty sounties now area testing and one county preliminary testing. In 1956 seven out of every 100 cattle tested at livestock suction barns were reactors. Presently, less than one out of every 200 are reactors. Final push on to complete testing of all counties in next two months. FIRE ANT: A total of 280,482 acres treated which includes all known infested acreage in 18 counties. Some 120,000 acres remain to be treated and work now underway in six counties. Wildlife officials surveying treated areas report no depletion of wildlife as a result of this eradication program. WHITE FRINGED BEETLE: All known infestations treated In 23 counties.
