The viper has been furnished a nest in the heart of America and has been supported and _ fed by the hard-earned taxpayers money _ of this country. It is hard to realize that this is true, but no one will challenge the statement if they are informed. With these things, too, future historians will deal. There is nothing that the present generation will do about it because the present generation has not and will not, in all probability, realize the enormity of the crime which has been perpetrated on them in the establishment of the so- called World Government at Lake Suc- cess in the heart of our fair country. During the last four years, Congress has appropriated billions of dollars of the. taxpayers. money for the purpose of building up our Armed defenses. No one now seems to know where much of the billions of dollars went. We do know that billions of it was given away by the Army and many billions were given away through the so-called Marshall Plan, and perhaps most of the dollars were given away in like manner that was appropriated for defense. We do know that our boys in Korea are being slaughtered every day by the products of the German factories which we allow- . ed to be moved to Russia, and we do know they were not furnished equipment to match that of the Russians. We do know when the show-down came these untrained boys were sent in there to be sacrificed and their lives swapped for a little time. ~ Also, we on that the European countries, whose good will we have tried to purchase with billions of dollars of Marshall Plan money are themselves so full of Communists and Communist ef- fort that they could not possibly be of any material help to us in a war with Russia even if the Governments wanted to. They would have their hands full dealing with the Communists in their own borders. We do know that in the final analysis, America will have to stand on its own feet and we know there are Communists, . Commiunist sympathizers and Cofaniunist-minded men who would not think of carrying a Communist card, The men . but who are in the very heart and vitals -of our own Government in Washington. All of these things have been brought out just so we may have a true back- ground of the situation in the present days, and then, perhaps, we can begin to understand the peril of the times in which we live. All the great Empires of the past have fallen and been destroyed because-they failed and refused to live according to honesty and patriotism in Government. We should remember, however, that those individuals in Government who have been responsible for those Govern- ments- have themselves been merely in- struments of the times in which they | lived. We know that there are. certain economic cycles which pass in regular periods of time. We know that there are certain political cycles which are caused by the economic cycles and which also pass in regular periods of time, and we know that these political cycles make his- .tory by causing depressions,-by causing times of prosperity, by causing war and by bringing about destitute conditions Se among the people as the cycles go by. Prophecies of the future are but his- tory in reverse because future develop- ments will be the result of those same | conomic and political cycles. Therefore, we should remember that both the King and clown are but pawns in the hands of destiny. There is only one high up power hav- ing control over all of natures laws and cycles. When that power intervenes, we call it a miracle. Only a miracle can pre- vent the civilization of 1952 following the .cycle of economic and political his- tory. : Insofar as we know there iS today no Elisha with power and: courage to call the Governments of the world from the worship of Baal to the Altar of Jehovah. All diseased plants found are being confiscated and destroyed; however, it is impossible for our inspectors to see all the plants unless notified by the growers and it is suggested that all Georgia farmers importing tomato plants from Florida have them checked by a Georgia inspector before being set in the field. This service can be obtained by. contacting the Chief Inspector, Georgia Department of Entomology. Tifton, Georgia. It looks like we are starting out with a bad year for late blight and you know what late blight can do to a toma- to crop as it has caused serious damage to the green wraps at harvest in previous years and ruined the crop in 1946. It will be necessary to keep the plants covered with tion on disease control in tomato green wraps and the spraying and dusting recommendations for tomato plants and Vocational Agricultural Teachers in counties growing tomato green wraps and the necessary information can be obtained from their office. Wherever possible obtain tomato plants (con. focal being grown by tobacco plant growers under cloth and many of these are ready for setting out in the field; how- plant inspector from our Tifton office. ~'Tom Linder, Commissioner of Agriculture CH: Alden, Director of Etomology - Some pure . yellow Bunch seed sweet potatoes, eight cents lb.
