That Federal indictment against you and

annoying. However, it will give you an op-

at strategic places: It must support these forces with
a continuous program of research and development.

It must test and retest equipment. It must distribute
supplies to far-flung airfields and air bases; it keeps

it does, and therein lies opportunity. Right now high
school graduates who are otherwise qualified may
choose their specialty school before enlisting and he
guaranteed assignment to that school. Upon enlistment

| they will be enrolled in the

school of their choice upon

completion of basic training. This means that young
men will have a solid foundation for either a military
or civilian career long before other men of their age
have decided definitely upon the training they will

need to take their place in

a fast moving world.

Aviation definitely offers favored futures to the

Editorial By TOM LINDER

1943, I had the pleasure of addressing
delegates from five states to the Farm-

Tadiana, Ohio, Michigan, Lknais and

by their hard, rough hands. ,

There was absolute accord in the
meeting. Everyone was of the same
mind. Without exception, it was _the

_ opinion of the meeting that bureau-

eratie control of the farmers must be

eliminated,

Without exception, those delegates

As a young man, in South Geor-

Jand lines with a surveyors compass, I
found it was impossible to run a straight
line guided entirely by the magnetic

Any local attraction such as. rail-
