tour seals are typified by men

ts prophesied therein will be con-

fined to a short period of time.
Whether one is 4 Christian or not,
are vitaily interested in the
ts foretold in Revelations because

is the only guide that man has that

ables him to look to the future and
nderstand what we may expect in
fhe immediate coming -years.
hat we may expect in agriculture,
business and in industry, as well as
hat we may expect m the way of

The background in opposing color i is

what brings the picture out and makes

it plain.

A study of fie scriptures convinces
me that the opening of thefirst seal

began in April 1917 with the red back-
ground of World War No. 1 in full .

sway. In April 1917, the President of

the United States took this country

into the World War to Set | for world
peace.
As the background of World War 1

fades into the distance, we find this
drive for world peace coming to a cli-

max in 1923.

In 1923, we destroyed battleships.
We entered into treaties

gram for world peace.

This drive for world peace contin-
ued and has now arrived at the stage:

of a United Nations organization.
The talk of, and agitation for world
peace will continue but there -will be
no world peace because it is contrary
to the scriptures :
It is my belief that the opening
phases of each great world movement

typified by the Four Horsemen covery

a period of fourteen years.

The opening of the first seal of
world peace agitation began in April,
1917 and lasted until April, 1931.

OPENING THE SECOND SEAL

And when he had opened
the second seal, I heard the sec-
ond beast say, Come and see.

And there went out anoth-
er horse that was red: and pow- -
er was given to him that sat
thereon to take peace from the
earth, and that they should lll
one another: and there was giy-
en unto him a ereat sword.
Rey. 6, 3 and 4.

April 1931 ushered in the fourteen-
year period which was the beginning
of the second world movement for war.

Immediately after the beginning
of this period, the Japanese attacked
Korea. They continued to make war
on China for six years and in 1937 the
great war of Hurope was brewed by

Hitler and Mussolini: and was ple
