Turnips, turnip salad, onions, spinach, collards, mustard and rad- _-ishes comprise the list of Georgia vegetables being - offered. Some few Georgia cabbage have been com- _ ing in but most of them are not sufficiently headed | to be in demand. Florida cabbage are moving much more rapidly now than two weeks ago due to the reduction in price. ~The demand for Florida citrus fruit = held up - well and the recent slight advance in the prices seem to have had little effect on the movement up | to now. Peach growers north of Macon seem discour aged much more over the outlook for a peach crop than those to the south and those above Maco claim that their crop is almost a total loss due 3 the recent heavy frosts. Growers below Macon > estimate a loss of practically 25 per cent. Both wheat and oats are in excellent condition in the middle Georgia area and with favorable weather conditions for the remainder of the season there should be an abundant harvest as the stands are above an average. a = N- se Manager. - ATLANTA SPOT COTTON ATLANTA, Ga., March 12th.At .he close of the market today Atlanta spot cotton was quoted at. fifty points on the New York May future or 9.50c price of middling 7-8 inch cotton on ten southern | markets yesterday was 8.99c per pound.
