LONG Manager THE MACON MARKET) - Due to favorable weather conditions for the last several days there hes been quite an improvement in the quality of fall produce that has come on the market. The greatest improvement has been in turnips with collards coming second. The movement of all produce has been rather slow since the holi- days but with the quality improving as it now is _ we feel that the demand will steadily increase. = Local producers are furnishing collards, turnips and mustard and South Georgia producers are now marketing turnips, mustard and some few cabbage. The supply of sweet potatoes has been adequate and the price has advanced slightly since our last report. _ PRICES OF FRESH GEORGIA _ VEGETABLES.
