View this email in your browser State Agencies go "All In" for SCCP In the last 17 years, the State Charitable Contributions Program (SCCP) has raised more than $43 million to help support local and nationwide charities. More than 100 independent charities and federations participate in the SCCP, and more than 114,000 state employees are eligible to participate. Last fall, more than $1.39 million was pledged across the state. This year, the goals for the 2015 Annual Campaign are to raise $1.5 million and increase participation by 33%. With more than 1,300 charitable organizations, you can easily find a charity close to your heart and give back. If every eligible employee gave just one dollar a month, that campaign goal would be met! About 50 communications and leadership personnel representing nearly 40 state agencies gathered at GEMA's State Operations Center to discuss emergency communications and lessons learned from the winter storms that struck Georgia earlier this year.
