Bill Summary: HR 883 establishes the House Study Committee on Making Georgia the No.1 State for Tourism. The committee will consist of 10 members: three must be members of the Economic Development & Tourism committee; two members from the House of Representatives with expertise in tourism; and one representative each from the Georgia Hotel and Lodging association, Georgia Association of Convention and Visitors Bureau, Georgia Restaurant Association, Georgia Sports Tourism Council, and Explore Georgia. 
 
The committee will stand abolished December 1, 2025.
