In spite of a growth of 100 jobs in management of companies and enterprises, the professional and business services sector attributes its 3,300 contraction of jobs to the loss of 2,100 positions in professional, scientific, and technical services and a decrease of 1,300 in administrative and support and waste management and remediation services. Employment in information decreased by 1,500 over the month.
