I heard the voice of Jesus say, Come unto me and rest 
On Friday, September 20,2019, the Angel of the Lord called, David 
Wilson answered and went home to be with the Lord. 
He wasjbom On December 14,1962, to the late Mr. J. C. Wilson and 
Mrs. Gertrude Davis Wilson, in Chicago, Illinois. 
At an early age, he fellowshipped with Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. 
He was educated in the Richmond County School System and was 
a 1981 graduate of The Academy of Richmond County. 
He was employed at King Mill in Augusta, Georgia, Pactiv (formerly 
Amoco), and Kimberly Clark in Beech Island, South Carolina. 
David enjoyed cooking, traveling and his dogs, especially, Pearl. 
On November 12,1994, he was united in holy matrimony to Virginia 
T. Cummings, and to this union, one son was born. 
Those left to carry on his cherish his memory are: son, 
Justin David Wilson; mother, Mrs. Gertrude Wilson; sister, Angel 
Wilson; nephew, Xavier Wilson; aunts, Mary Davis, Eddie May 
Perry of Augusta, GA, Ella Mae Taylor and Rose Gandy, both of 
Chicago, IL; uncles, Willie L. (Naomi) f)avis and Oscar Davis, both 
of Augusta, GA, Willie (Mary) Wilson of Chicago, IL and James 
Wilson of Phoenix, AZ; and a host of other relatives and sorrowing 
friends. *0

Ill always remember that special smile, that caring heart, that warm 
embrace, you always gave me, and you being there for me, through 
the good and bad times, no matter what. Ill always remember you 
Dad, because therell never be another one to replace you in my 
heart and the love I will always have for you.

How nothing but your sadness, can really go away. 
And think of me as living, in the hearts of those I touched; 
For nothing loved is ever lost, and I know I was loved so much. 
We, the family of David Wilson, deeply appreciate the many 
expressions of love, concern, and kindness shown to us during this
