 auw w ice (T/Q blliaw u was born to the late Clarence and Anna Lou Williams 
on March 3, 1929, in Edgefield County, South Carolina. Paul was called home to receive his crown on September 26, 2005, at Aiken Regional Medical Center, Aiken, South Carolina. 
He joined Old Macedonia Baptist Church at an early age. Paul later joined South Hempstead Baptist Church when he, his wife and nine month old daughter moved to Hempstead, New York. There he served as the President of the Usher Board and Trustee Board for several years. In 1994, Paul and Viola were reinstated to Old Macedonia and became active members. They sang on the Senior Choir and Paul also joined the Male Chorus. 
Paul was honorably discharged July 2nd, 1953, from the Unites States Army. He served from July 20th, 1951, to July 2nd, 1953, as a Radio Repairman. He received an Occupation Medal in Germany. Paul was a member of Doric Lodge #53 in Hempstead, New York and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. 
He attended Bettis Academy Junior College and Benedict College in Columbia, South Carolina. Paul was called to the service before completing his Bachelors Degree. He later earned his Bach elors and Masters of Art Degrees from Hofstra University, Long Island, New York. Paul worked for the United States Government for several years as a Postal Worker before he became a Teacher for Ulysses Byas Elementaiy School in Roosevelt, New York. He was loved and respected by the teachers and students of the school. Paul retired from the Roosevelt Board of Education after 25 years of service. He was honored with a well received banouet during inclement weather in Februaiy of 1992. 
He was joined in Holy Matrimony to Viola T. Jennings on June 19th, 1954. Two daughters were born Deborah Elaine and Beverly Ann. Paul loved his family and was true role model and Christian man. He was a warrior, a true strategist with a love for challenge. 
Paul leaves to cherish fond memories: his loving wife of 51 years, Viola Teresa Williams; two daughters, Deborah E. Williams of Alexandria, VA and Beverly A . Hall of Atlanta, GA ; three sisters, Lucy Ashley of Trenton, SC, Anna Bell White of Philadelphia, PA and Ophelia Thomas of Batesburg, SC; two brothers, Louis Williams of Washington, DC and Hemy (Pearl) Williams of North Augusta, South Carolina; grandson, Markael D. Hall; three sisters-in-law, Dorothy W ill iams of Suitland, Maiyland, Maiy Jennings and Ora Jennings of Graniteville, SC; three brothers-inlaw, Willie (Unie) Jennings of Hephzibah, Georgia, Albert (Jean) Jennings of Graniteville, SC and Gratice Brown of Baltimore, MD; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
