She is the first bom of James and Alzora Philpot, born March 3,1933 in Girard, GA. She was the oldest of five siblings, Theodore, James, Patricia, Herbert, all of whom preceded her in death. Virginia attended Haines High School where she excelled in her studies. On April 15, 1955, she married Anthony Clarence Williamson, II and grew a loving family together over the next thirty-nine years until Clarences death on October 5, 1994. Virginia enjoyed bible studies, teaching Sunday school, gardening, playing bid whist, crossword puzzles, debates of current events and fishing. Virginia was baptized at an early age at Thankful Baptist Church and remained a faithful and devoted member for over eighty years. She worked as a bank clerk for the Citizens and Southern National Bank until she retired in 1987.
