OBITUARY Lord, we bow in humble submission to thank you for the life of Claude Weaver, Jr., born to the late Claude Weaver, Sr. and the late Lula Adams Weaver on July 4, 1923 in Edgefield County, South Carolina. He departed this life on Thursday, January 2, 1997 at the Aiken Regional Medical Center. We thank you Lord for allowing Claude to join the Willow Spring Baptist Church in Edgefield County, South Carolina at an early age where he served faith fully until his health failed. He was also a retired em ployee of E.I. Dupont Company, SRS after thirty one years of service. He was united in holy wedlock to the late Clora T. Gaskin Weaver. To this union three sons were born. On December 14, 1985 Claude was united in holy wed lock to the former Evetta Garrett. He leaves to cherish precious memories, his lov ing and devoted wife, Evetta Garrett Weaver, Salley, South Carolina; three sons, Clester Weaver, Aiken, South Carolina, Leonard (Christilene) Weaver, Los Angeles, California and Larry (Jacqueline) Weaver, Hephzibah, Georgia; one stepdaughter, Thomasina (Brainard) Brannum, North, South Carolina; one step son, Thomas (Denise) Garrett, Salley, South Carolina; one sister, Amanda Weaver Collier, Aiken, South Carolina; six grandchildren; father and mother-inlaw, Cecil and Nellie Brown, of Seaside, California; eight sisters-in-law; four brothers-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
