He received his Christian Baptism at his home church, Richmond Hill Baptist Church in Hephzibali, Georgia. He later joined Elim Baptist Church in Augusta, Georgia, where he served as a faithful Deacon until he was called to his rest on July 27,2013. Sidney was gainfu Hy employed and retired from Babcox and Wilcox/Thermal Ceramics for sixty years. Deacon Waltower will be remembered for his cooperative spirit, humble countenance and faithfulness. He leaves to cherish his memory: a loving and devoted daughter, Mb. Mayo H.
