The Reverend Rufus Coleman, Officiant (fbbitm rp Mrs. Lannie Hall Vinson was born in Lincolnton County, Georgia on October 9, 1904 to the late Henry and Jannie Hall. She resided in New York City where she served twenty-five years as a devoted and dedicated nanny. After returning home to Augusta, she re-entered Gardner Grove Baptist Church where she served well as a member. Lannie Vinson "Big Mama", as she was called, was an inspiration to all that knew her. She leaves to cherish her three sons Jimmie C. Vinson, Walter Vmson and Louis Vinson, all ofAugusta; one brother, Clyde Hall of Statesboro, Georgia; three sisters, Eva Mae Harris and Robbin Turner o f Lincolnton County, and Martha Vinson o fAugusta; fourteen Grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren and a host of other relatives andfriends.
