On Monday, November 10, 2003, CuCaCa Ve*anLca JltcGCaddie Ju t t went home to be with the Lord. Born in Appling, Georgia on October 23, 1916, she was the young' est child of the late Henry and America Pollard McCladdie.
Eulala received her early educational training at the Lampkin Grove School in Appling. Georgia along with Mauge Street and Weed Street Schools in Augusta. She graduated from the Haines Normal and Industrial Institute in 1935. She was an active member of theddaines Alumni Association until illness prevented her from doing so.
On May 18,1938, Eulala married the late Verdery Tutt. They were married almost sixty one years. Eulala and Verdery were the parents of a daughter, Valeria Joyce and two sons, Verdery Laverte and Byron LaVosier.
Eulala accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized by the late Rev. G. W. Jones at the Lampkin Grove Baptist Church. Although she attended the Antioch Baptist Church since childhood and was actively involved, she did not trans' fer her membership until the early 1960's. A t Antioch, she was a member of the Missionary Society and the Board of Deaconesses.
Eulala Tutt is survived by: her children, daughter, Joyce Tutt Day, Laverte Tutt and Byron Tutt; sister, Sarah M. Morse; daughtenin'law, Betty Morgan Tutt; son-in-law, Griffin F. Day, III; granddaughters, Monica Tutt Stevens, Veronica L. Tutt, Ingrid S. Tutt, Sharmen "Sissy" Tutt, Marva L. Tutt and Valeria Lynne Day; grandson, Byron L. Tutt, II; great grandchildren Tia A. Tutt, Jordan B. Tutt and Justin and Jordan R. Stevens; one great grandchild, Taylor Alexander Tutt preceded her in death; she is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many other relatives, and friends.
