CURTIS TORAN, JR., was born in Augusta, Georgia, to Mrs. Mary Brown Toran and the late Curtis Toran, Sr. Curtis was a 1976 graduate of Matoaca High School and a former football player with the Tri-City Titians Football Team. He was employed at Virginia State University in the Food Service Department at Foster Hall. Cherishing his memory always will be his mother, Mrs. Mary B. Toran, Petersburg; his four children, Dermaine and Dantron Barrett, Schmakia Bray and Curtis Toran, III, all of Augusta, Ga.; his eight sisters, Toni, Nanette, Geraldine, Gloria, Veronica and 1ina Toran, all of Petersburg, Ms. Pricilla Shepard of Augusta, Ga., and Mrs. Shelia Grace of Norfolk; his grandmother. Mrs. Georgia P.
