Ecclesiastes 3:1 A Time to Be Born Sarah Almond Evans Thompson was bom to the late Dr. Louis D. Evans and Medora Jefferson Evans on May 22, 1914 in Augusta, Georgia. She was the 5th child of six siblings. A Time to Be Re-Born Mrs. Sarah was a devoted Christian. She grew up in the church and was baptized as a member of Union Baptist Church at an early age. She was an active member of the church, where she served in numerous leadership roles; Church Treasurer, Program Chairperson and Communion preparation. A Time to Love She fell in love and married Harold D. Thompson, Sr. They were blessed with two sons, Harold D. Thompson, Jr., and Charles A. Thompson. She lived as a positive role model for her children. She also raised her niece, Joan Thompson. A Time to Weep She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents; her loving brothers Louis V.
