was born to Mrs. Argie L. Tardy and the late Ernest A. Tardy, Sr. on August 31, 1959 in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. 
 
Blaine was a native of Carteret, New Jersey. He attended Marie H. Katzenback School for the Deaf in West Trenton, New Jersey and graduated with a diploma and earned a certificate in Graphic Arts in 1978. 
 
Blaine moved to Augusta in 1990, and became a member of Beulah Grove Baptist Church. He joined the Georgia Council for the Hearing Impaired and was very active. 
 
Bl aine loved people and had a way of communicating with anyone. His passion for cooking was one of his many at tributes. He was truly a connoisseur of foods. 
 
Blaine leaves behind to cherish his memories: a loving 
 
and devoted mother, Argie L. Tardy, of Hephzibah, GA; 
 
three brothers, Ernest Tardy, Jr., of Hephzibah, GA, Jerome 
 
R. Tardy, Sr., of Elizabethtown, KY and Dennis D. (Julia)

God came and took me home. I am okay now, I 'm not alone. No more suffering, no more pain, no more crying, sheltered from the rain. I am full o f life now more than ever, And one day again, we'll be together. I m in a wonderful place, nothing like from where I came; Here is everlasting life, and for you will be the same. I know you're hurting, but your weeping won't last, Joy will come tomorrow and all your sorrows will pass. Please don't worry, I'm in a better place; My God came and saved me with his amazing grace. For I am in Heaven, no more pain to endure, 1will be with my father forevermore.
