This is the ending of strife; Say not that death should be dreaded 'Tis but the begining of life. . . Was Tuesday, March 3, 1964 for the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harry Daniels of Wilkes County Georgia. His Christian life began at an early age when he was converted and baptized at the Level Hill Baptist Church. He was ordained deacon in 1913. For a number of years he was a member of the Board of Trustees for the Central Elementary School. He was the founder of the Stephen Grove Elementary School in Toliver County. He retired as a stationary fireman from the Southern Railroad. He was a very active member of the First Providence Baptist Church. He served faithfully as chairman of the Board of Deacons until his health failed him. He was also a member of the Simmons F. A. A. Y. Masons Lodge, North Augusta, South Carolina. In 1904 he was married to the late Susie Andrews. Survivors are: six daughters, Mrs. Amelia Lamback, Mrs. Lizzie Neal, Mrs. Sallie Collins, Mrs. Edna Lattimer, Mrs. Ruby Green and Miss DeRena Stephens; four sons, Jessie, Frank, Robert and Wadie Steph- ens; six sisters, Mrs. Annie M. Payne, Mrs. Isabella Dorsey, Miss Annie L. Daniels, Mrs. Floyd Garmet. Mrs. Albie Lunsford and Mrs. Olivia Turner; five brothers, Wadie Walker, Robert, and James Dan- iels and Sylvester Stephens; three brothers-in-law, Norman Dorsey. Nemiah Lunsford and W. Turner; five sisters-in-law, Mrs. Rosa Dan- iels, Mrs. Mamie Stephens, Mrs. Ruth Daniels, Mrs. James Daniels and Mrs. Robert Daniels; four daughters-in-law, Alberta, Mattie, Alice, and Mattie Stephens; four sons-in-law. Jack Lattimer, Buster Neal, Sgt. Willie Green and Charles Collins, twenty-six grand- children, 13 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral Program OF DEACON JOHN C.
