Since it has pleased the all-wise God in his divine pro vidence to take from our midst the soul of our beloved Bob bie Lee Starks. He was born March 16, 1956, in Lincoln County, Georgia, and departed this life Tuesday, January 4, 1983. He was the son of Mr. Walter Lee Elam and Mrs. Essie Starks Elam. He was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church and had lived all of his life in Lincoln County. He possessed a very kind and pleasant disposition, and was loved by everyone. Whenever anyone met him he always had a warm smile for everyone he met. Those who are deeply touched are his parents; four sisters, Deloris Elam, Patsy Elam, Jackie Elam, and Betty Elam, all of Lincolnton, Ga.; four brothers, Walter Lee Elam Jr., Thomas Elam, Michael Elam, and Willie Elam, also of Lin colnton, Ga.; a nephew, Gabriel Jerome Elam, Lincolnton, Ga.; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends to mourn his passing. Sleep on, sleep on, Bobbie Lee, and take your rest. We all love you but God loved you best. Sometimes its hard to understand And harder still to say, "Thy will be done" when sorrow comes And sadness fills our day. But faith was meant for times like these And if we take Gods hand, With loving wisdom He will help Our hearts to understand. QDrter of fiwnife* Processional Selection ...............
