GLENDORA KNOX STAFFORD of Augusta, Georgia entered into rest Thursday, October 16, 2008, at Trinity Hospital. She attended public school in North Carolina and Technical school in Roanoke, Virginia. She was employed by Morrisania Hospital in New York City and after retirement she relocated to Coushattta, Louisiana, where she continued her employment with the Board of Edu cation. Because of declining health, she moved to Augusta, Georgia in 1994. She became a member of Greater Mount Canaan Mis sionary Baptist Church. Her survivors include: three sisters, Doretha Knox Moore, Salisbury, NC; Irene E. Mazone and Eleanor R Carr, Augusta, GA; niece, Shirley Moore Lewis, Augusta, GA; nephews, John E. Moore, William R. Moore and Wayne W; Moore, Salisbury, l^C; Michael E. Carr, San Francisco, CA and Edwin W. Carr, Columbia, SC; a host of great nieces, nephews and other rela tives.
